Blending and Cleaning:

• Blending is nothing but mixing different types of tea (primarily black tea) to give standard appearance and taste. Our tea tasting experts test different types of teas from various gardens everyday in Assam and then prepare a unique blend according to the standards of the Modi tea brand. The blending of tea is done in an automatic machine with the least possible human touch.
• After blending, our teas are put into a cleaning machine where it gets heated by infrared tubes. These tubes remove any moisture and unwanted particulars from the tea powder and kill all the bacteria making tea more safe and healthy to drink. With this comprehensive cleaning process, our customers receive the purest and the best quality tea.

Packing of Tea:

• We have two kinds of packing. One is pouch packing and the other is carton packing. The pouch packing is done with the help of automatic pouch filling and sealing machines. These machines help is reducing human errors and increases the efficiency and accuracy in packing of teas. The pouch packing comes in different sizes for example 100gms, 200gms, 250gms, 500gms and 1kg. We also have Rs. 1, Rs. 5 and Rs. 11 packing for the small rural areas.
• The bulk packing is done in 30kgs bags
• The carton packing is done with the help of automatic lined carton machine. This state of the art machine is customized with our needs and does all the functions like pasting, marking, filling and sealing. The carton packing comes in 100gms and 250gms packing.
• The bulk packing is done in 24kgs cartons
